A Bit About Camera Calibration

"ADAS" (Advance Driver Assist System) & "LDWS" (Lane Departure Warning System) are just a couple of examples of forward facing camera feature that may be equipped in your windshield, including in some "base model" vehicles.

The calibration process re-adjusts and tests all the cameras and sensors on the windshield to ensure they are all working properly after the windshield is replaced, back to your vehicle's original manufacturers' specifications.

Without re-calibration, the vehicle's camera features may not work properly which could lead to accidents causing injury to anyone sharing the roadways.

Now that camera sensors are equipped in over 80% of vehicles, most insurance companies will cover camera re-calibration costs along with your windshield replacement, ultimately saving you money.
